GROUPS
We welcome corporate teams, office groups, schools, service organizations, alumni groups, associations, fraternities, sororities and religious organizations to invest in community service activities through our Reconnect program …building commUNITY partnerships.
Goals
• To provide groups with a day of caring at the Knights Table.
• To provide the company or group with the opportunity to demonstrate its corporate and social responsibility in the community in which it lives, work and play.
• To provide team-building opportunities and create awareness on the issues of hunger, poverty and homelessness in Peel.
Group Size
Our volunteer projects can accommodate groups of various sizes and can provide excellent team-building opportunities. Groups must schedule in advance. We can accommodate groups of 4 to 30 people. Group of over 30 for special projects, please contact the office.
Activities
Group members will assist with a variety of tasks that include sorting food donations, packing hampers; food prep; cooking; serving food, washing dishes & administration.
