VOLUNTEER SCHEDULING INFORMATION

The schedule of volunteers is posted in Knights Table on a weekly basis. The schedule is the responsibility of the Volunteer Manager. If a volunteer cannot attend on their scheduled shift as a result of illness, absenteeism, etc, it is their responsibility to notify the office immediately and email the Volunteer Manager.

Should the daily schedule change, the Volunteer Manager will notify the volunteer and provide an updated schedule when the volunteer reports for duty.

Booking a Shift – INDIVIDUALS

Volunteers are required every day and are divided into different roles and shifts:

WEEKDAY SHIFTS
7:30am – 11:30am
11:30am – 3:30pm
3:30pm – 6:15pm

WEEKEND / *HOLIDAY SHIFTS
7:30am – 11:30am
11:30am – 4:15pm

A Volunteer is not limited to one shift a day, however, during the interview process with the Volunteer Manager, the volunteer will have the opportunity to discuss their availability and best fit to the positions available at Knights Table. Volunteers may also email the Volunteer Manager to schedule future shifts.

*Please note that when a volunteer scheduled shift falls on a Holiday, the volunteer is still required to fulfill their committed 3/4 hour shift.

Reconnect engages participants in service activities 7 days a week.

WEEKDAY SHIFTS
7:30am – 11:30am
11:30am – 3:30pm
3:30pm – 6:15pm

WEEKEND / HOLIDAY SHIFTS
7:30am – 11:30am
11:30am – 4:15pm

**Please note that time can be adjusted to fit the group’s schedule.

Note – for large groups you can always consider dividing the groups into smaller groups to volunteer on different shifts and departments.
